Thursday the January 6 committee showed a previously unseen seven-minute video compilation of what happened in the hours lawmakers were hiding in a secure location while Trump’s rioters stormed the US Capitol.
In one dramatic scene, we see Nancy Pelosi phoning for help alongside Republican lawmakers like Mitch McConnell.
‘It’s just horrendous, and all at the instigation of the President of the United States,’ Pelosi said in the video.
At the end of the hearing, the committee voted unanimously to subpoena Trump.
