Every year, National Geographic picks the top travel photos — and it gives us a serious case of wanderlust.

Thousand entered the annual contest which had three different categories: Nature, Cities, and People.
A photographer by the name of Weimin Chu was named Grand Prize winner for his breath-taking image, “Greenlandic Winter,” of the colorful fishing village of Upernavik, in northwestern Greenland, covered in snow. It looks like a painting , doesn’t it?
