SNL alumni Maya Rudolph is back with her Kamala Harris impersonation, and we’re all happy about that.
The ‘VP brought back the ‘fun aunt’ aka the ‘Funt’ persona, as the Democratic presidential candidate did a mock speech at the podium.
‘You see, my campaign is like the Sabrina Carpenter song ‘Espresso,’ Rudolph’s Harris joked. ‘The lyrics are vague but the vibe slaps.’
She added: ‘Now this election is about moving forward. You see, Donald Trump is stuck in the past, but it’s like I say to my husband Doug when he leaves his phone at the Chili’s, “We are not going back.”
Andy Samberg portrayed Harris’ husband, Doug Emhoff, who is Jewish, doing a brilliant job.
Jim Gaffigan played Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, James Austin Johnson portrayed Republican candidate Donald Trump, Dana Carvey appeared as President Joe Biden.
