Rihanna says Marie Antoinette inspired her latest Fenty X Puma collection during Paris Fashion Week 2016 in France this week, wearing on of her own creations, a wild combo of eyelet pants, a drawstring jacket — and a long train.
She also styled her models in Queenly pastel pinks, purples, beiges and greens with sheer details, ruffles and multi-strand pearl chokers. Many of her offbeat designs featured corsets, which is probably as close to Antoniette’s era, though at that time they were worn UNDER clothes of course. Will we see some of these styles this Spring or are they just for the runway?
