This morning ABC announced the new celeb line-up for Dancing With The Stars, which includes a reality star, a football champion, a singer, a sitcom “legend”, a science man, Glee star and a well-known comic. So, basically, the same mix as every season.
Shaking things up a bit with a new format for Season 17 (yes, we’ve been watching it that long) the show will now only be on one night, Monday, with a two-hour format.
Other Season 17 stars include singer Christina Milian, formerly of time-slot competitor The Voice; actress Elizabeth Berkley Lauren, a trained dancer best known for Showgirls; Bill Nye,our favorite science guy; comedian Bill Engvall; former NFL star Keyshawn Johnson; High School Musical star Corbin Bleu; Brant Daugherty of Army Wives and Pretty Little Liars; Jersey Shore star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi; Glee’s Amber Riley; Leah Remini of The King of Queens and The Talk, who made news recently with reports of her departure from the Church of Scientology; and Jack Osbourne, brother of former Dancing competitor Kelly Osbourne.
The season kicks-off Monday September 16th on ABC.
