The signature restaurant of Sofitel hotel in Beverly Hills, the Esterel, was always pleasant but not the place you thought of when you wanted a special night out. Now, with the exciting remodel designed by the Xperiment USA hospitality team, it’s bright and cheerful with different spaces, “Le Jardin” and “The Aviary”. Designed as a French garden patio, Le Jardin, features colorful furniture, fountains, and a Provençal-inspired herb garden, making it a perfect setting for alfresco afternoon and evening dining. The “living wall” of plants backdrop, adds to the garden feeling. There is also a space for romantic lovers with a semi-private table for two (reserve early!).
The new entrance escorts guests from the main valet at Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills through wrought iron gates and lush greenery into the “refreshed” patio at Riviera 31 Lounge Bar.
As part of the recent changes , the hotel has also brought on the talent of rising culinary star Executive Chef Victor Boroda to create new flavors for the restaurant’s Mediterranean cuisine.
“I structured the menu to create dishes I would want to eat myself,” said Boroda. “It’s focused on vegetables and grains that are healthy and meant to make you feel better.
Now you have a place to take out-of-towners, or just treat yourself.
