The  279 feet floating Christmas tree in Rio de Janeiro was lit this weekend. Holding  the world record for the largest floating Christmas tree since 2007, the floating holiday tree at Rodrigo de Freitas lagoon in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil has become a huge tourist attraction. Counting more than three millions of lights, the Christmas tree features an elaborated and continuously changing display that shows different  patterns in different colors.
