Glaziers in Chicago replace a layer of protective transparent flooring over the glass surface on the floor of one of four transparent ledges that jut out from the 103rd floor of the Willis Tower in Chicago. As you may have heard, the glass cracked on one of the Ledges Friday.

Willis Tower officials said the glass itself did not crack, only the protective coating. A spokesperson said visitors never were in danger. Still, scary for the four tourists who were posing for a photo when the glass shattered!
