The Oscar noms are in and to no one’s surprise, the musical love note to L.A., ‘La La Land’ is the one to beat with a record -tying 14 nominations, including the big ones; Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Actress.

“All About Eve” and “Titanic” also received 14 nominations, with six and 11 wins, respectively.

“La La Land” is competing with nine other flicks, including “Manchester by the Sea” and “Moonlight,” which won the Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture – Drama. Check out our review of ‘La La Land’ here.

The 89th Academy Awards will take place on Feb. 26, with Jimmy Kimmel set to host the annual awards show.
