When Meghan Markle (with hubby Prince Harry) was helping in Altadena after the devastating wildfires, they met a teen who was going through the ruin of their house looking for a prized Billie Eilish t-shirt from the singer’s last tour, which had been in the dryer when they evacuated.

“All she’d been looking for in her home was the T-shirt from the Billie Eilish concert that she had just gone to, that she’d left in the washing machine or the dryer,” Markle explained.

“And of course, they now see their home and the washing machine, the dryer are ash. They’re not there anymore.”

The Duchess said she was determined to get the 15-year-old another concert tee.

Markle said: “I thought of everybody I knew, and I made a voice note and I was like, ‘Please can someone get this voice note to Billie Eilish? Here’s what I’m asking.”

As it turned out, Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine and his lovely wife Behati Prinsloo knew the ‘Bad Guy’ singer and got them in touch.

Billie Eilish then put together a box of merch, including several tees, plus a signed record and a personalized lunch box for the delighted teen.

Then the Duchess put on her Instagram:

“To everyone who is showing up for people in big and small ways to get through what’s happened in California. Just thank you so much. I’m going to go and email her mom now. Just wanted to share that with you guys.”

Later, the two were pictured helping serve meals at the World Central Kitchen in Pasadena.
