Congrats to Megan Thee Stallion, who just made history as the first female rapper to grace the cover of Sports Illustrated.

The 26-year-old performer ( real name Megan Jovon Ruth Pete ) wore a beige cutout bikini, ironically showing LESS skin than she usually does.

Taking to her Instagram to celebrate the milestone, she wrote:

‘I want to thank all the strong women in my life who inspired me to love my body and live my best hot girl life. It means the world to me to be on this cover DREAM COME TRUE!!’

And while we’re celebrating firsts, Leyna Bloom also made history as Sports Illustrated Swimsuit’s first transgender cover star. You see, the magazine will be released with three covers, featuring tennis pro Naomi Osaka, rapper Megan Thee Stallion, and Leyna Bloom.
