If a little toad came to visit you every day, you might feed him but would you make him… a hat?

According to a Chris Newsome, when a toad who lived under his porch started showing up day to day, he decided that said toad “needed a hat” and decided to “help the little guy out.” Naturally.

Chris has even posted tips on making hats for toads, writing  “Foam paper seemed like a toad-friendly material.” Using the lightweight substance and a little glue, Newsome fashioned a fabulous pink top hat. But he didn’t stop there. His sartorial little friend needed some variety so he made him a cowboy hat and a baseball cap. Of course.

We feel so badly that we haven’t been treating our little field mouse to some high fashion.
