When Ivanka  Trump gave a women’s empowerment speech in Tokyo on Friday, hardly anyone showed up. It was even more mortifying since she had been asked to speak by the Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

Organizers blamed it on the tight security measures meant that many people were unable to make it inside the venue before the doors closed, yet there were no lines outside to get in. Like father like daughter.
