Eden Wexler screen shot

You’ve been wearing your sunglasses all wrong. Are you wearing sunglasses that fit and flatter? Are they too big ? Too small? We asked Eden Wexler from Safilo, who is an expert at glass fitting — and helps celebs pick out sunnies  — what to look for when trying on sunglasses.

DAILY CANDID NEWS:  What is the most common mistake you see people make when picking  a pair of sunglasses?

EDEN : I often see people on the street who have on ill-fitting eyewear. The glasses either don’t cover their full range of vision (under their eyes or the sides) press on their checks when they smile or their eyes aren’t centered properly in the lenses. (Eden refers to this as the “smile” test.)

These are the people who clearly picked their sunglasses out without any help from an optician or a sunglasses specialist.

For those people, I highly recommend stopping into your local Solstice Sunglasses or optical shop to make sure that your current glasses fit you properly. Your sunglasses wont fully protect your eyes if they don’t fit!
