Just the tonic the doctor ordered… Rolling Stone’s Mick Jagger and Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters) secretly recorded a song together which Jagger says he hopes will give listeners ‘some much needed optimism.’
Released Tuesday, the lyrics reflect life in quarantine:
“That’s a pretty mask / But never take a chance Tik Tok stupid dance / Took a Samba class I landed on my ass / Trying to write a tune; you better hook me up to Zoom,” Jagger belts out.
Someday, this will all be a bad memory but until then sing along.
