Viktria is a pretty girl, but she had trashed her hair over the summer in the sun and salt water. Her wish was to keep the look natural, but go a little darker for fall.

So our pretty California gal went to master (mistress?) colorist, Toyomi Ishikura at the celebrated Kim Vo salon in the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills.

We spoke with Toyomi about the hair make-over:

The theme was going natural with her. Her hair was so damaged and dry by bleach and sun. For winter and fall, she wanted to go darker and natural, yet she didn’t want to look too dark or heavy.

So we decided to darken the roots which gives her depth in the color. And, lowlights on the ends, which creates the ombre look and leaves a little bit of brightness. And finally I did the toner which gives her nice soft golden tone and shine.

Everything we did was with non-ammonia products, so her hair gets a much-needed  break and repair from the all the damage.
