Over the weekend, 70,000 people were suddenly stuck in the desert when the Burning Man Festival was slammed with over two months’ worth of rain in just 24 hours. As experts warned the crowd to conserve food and fuel, porta poties overflowed and people were advised to use ‘poop buckets.’

 

There is hope that the rains will lessen and roads out of the desert may re-open Monday.
