It was a big night for Lady Gaga at the Critics Choice awards as the singer/actresses picked up the Best Song statue for ‘Shallow’ from the ‘A Star is Born’ soundtrack and then tied with Glenn Close for the ‘Best Actress Award.

Overcome, Gaga burst into tears when her name was called for the first time and dedicated her star award to ‘to all people who have suffered from alcoholism or addiction.’

“Shallow” — written by Gaga, Rossomando, Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt — also won best original song at the 2019 Golden Globes on Jan. 6 and at this rate, will add an Oscar soon.
