The wife of Jeffrey Jacoby, who OD’ed with a sex worker in Vegas, is now suing the Las Vegas Venetian and Palazzo, alleging they should have ‘alerted her husband about the robbery for failing to alert her husband about the robbery threat.’
Surveillance footage from the hotel shows the husband walking around the hotel with the well-known hooker, then withdrawing $1,000 from an ATM. He then is seen taking her to his hotel room around 1 am. The sex worker was seen exiting shortly afterward with Jacoby’s phone, wallet, and $1,000 from the room as he died of a fentanyl overdose.
Jacoby was found dead after his wife asked the hotel to perform a welfare check after she couldn’t reach him.
The hooker and her pimp were quickly arrested after being ID’d from the hotel footage.
