The actress is almost unrecognizable but that’s Margot Robbie in a fat suit to play disgraced skater Tonya Harding for the movie ‘ I, Tonya.’ With her hair styled in frizzy waves and packing on the pads, the 26 year-old Australian actress has also learned to skate for the role.
Margot told Glamour magazine about learning to skate last year, saying: ‘I’m really excited because I love acquiring a new skill for a role, it’s one of the biggest treats of acting.
‘On the producing side of it – if I get an injury I’m scared I’m going to ruin everything so I’m nervous.’

Known as the ‘Whack heard around the world, the movie tells the true life story of Tonya and husband, who secretly hired a thug to break rival Nancy Kerrigan’s leg to force her to pull out of the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer in Norway. Even though her knee was badly bruised, Kerrigan went on to win a silver medal and Tonya came in eighth. As you’ll remember, Tonya received a lifetime ban from skating competition, while her husband got a two-year prison sentence.
