Another day, another shooting in America.

Monday morning an employee of the Old National Bank in Louisville, Kentucky, stormed the conference room and shot at least eight people, including two police officers. Other bank employees hid in the vault until the police gave the all clear

The shooter is also dead, Louisville Metro Police Deputy Chief Col. Paul Humphrey said, though we don’t know if he was killed by police fire or took his own life.

At least two police officers were shot during the exchange and one is in serious condition in the hospital.

Officers arrived at the scene within three minutes and immediately opened fire.

Note: this makes the 146th mass shooting in 2023.
