Chris Rock broke the news on Twitter,  announcing  this morning that he will host the Oscars for a second time. He first emceed in 2005, and made history as the show’s first black host. In a statement he added that “it’s great to be back.”

The nominees for the 88th ceremony will be announced on Jan. 14, with the show scheduled to air from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Feb. 28.
