The week leading up to Oscar night is one l-o-n-g party, party, party. Last night GREY GOOSE vodka, partnered with Vanity Fair to celebrate “Young Hollywood” with a cocktail party and pre-Oscar celebration at the No Vacancy bar in Hollywood. Guests including Cat Deeley (“So You Think You Can Dance”), Victoria Justice (“Eye Candy”),Sarah Hyland (“Modern Family”), Whitney Cummings (“2 Broke Girls”), Sia (musician), James Corden (upcoming Late Late Show host), Brooklyn Decker (Sports Illustrated and Victoria’s Secret Model), Lydia Hearst (“Gossip Girl” and model) and more enjoyed an festive evening while sipping on GREY GOOSE Vodka’s award season cocktails such as our favorite, the GREY GOOSE LE FIZZ.
The evening’s festivities worked to benefit and highlight the Terrence Higgins Trust, a British charity that campaigns on various issues related to AIDS and HIV.
Co-host of the event, James Corden explained his involvement with the Terrence Higgins Trust and its importance as a philanthropic organization:
“It’s very, very hard to eliminate the stigma that is attached to the disease of HIV and AIDS,” he said. “I don’t quite understand why people feel this is a disease they have to hide because they shouldn’t. The only thing I can imagine worse than being told you have the disease is then thinking, ‘Oh My God, how do I tell my family and who do I hide this from?’ And that is not what this disease is. It’s a preventable and treatable disease, and you should not have to hide, and it’s a wonderful charity for helping people (dealing) with that. It says to people, here is a place and you are not on your own.”
