An estimated 60,000 migrants looking for work and a better life have poured into the small Spanish city of Ceuta from Morocco.

At least 57 people died while attempting to cross into Ceuta from North Africa; most of those drowned.

Spain sent the military in to try and stem the tide of humanity.
Rachid Sbihi, who leads a local workers association representing Civil Guard officers, described the situation as a “serious humanitarian crisis.”
