The L.A. Times revealed that 38 women have come forward with their own stories of sexual abuse at the hands of another Hollywood director, James Toback.

According to a report by the Los Angeles Times, Toback’s M.O. was to invite women, usually in their 20s, to his hotel room on the pretense of an audition where he would dry-hump them or masturbate in front of them, ejaculating into his pants or onto their bodies and then walk away.

Often during these meetings, Toback boasted of sexual conquests with the famous and then asked humiliating personal questions. How often do you masturbate? How much pubic hair do you have? He’d tell them, they said, that he couldn’t properly function unless he “jerked off” several times a day.

Since no one knew his movies —  ‘Black and White,’ ‘Two Girls and a Guy’ or his latest, ‘The Private Life of a Modern Woman’ — Toback would drop names, until he convinced naive actresses that he could ‘launch their career.

As the #metoo campaign continues to pick up steam, more women are coming forward, which hopefully will lead to changes, not only in Hollywood but across all industries.
