At Borgo Egnazia’s newest villas—Villa Meraviglioso and Villa Magnifica —  the three-story townhouses in Puglia Italy look like they have been there for centuries but actually, the 5-star hotel only opened in 2010.

Meticulously created, the hotel grounds are divided into three areas: the main hotel,  “La Corte” with its spectacular views; the maze-like “Il Borgo” (“The Village) with a family pool, a piazza as the center of the small town, and 30 outlying villas, each with a private pool, backyard and large kitchen.

Just steps away for the ice blue Adriatic Sea, Puglia is famous for its olives, in fact it produces 80% of all pasta and extra virgin olive oil from Italy. Take a tour and see some of the olive groves as you discover Puglia, or venture down to the sea.

At times, it’s like staying on a movie set and if it looks familiar, it may be because you saw the wedding pics of Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel who tied the knot in the romantic hotel. We’re putting Borgo Egnazia on our bucket list.
