At a wildly received Wellesley College’s commencement ceremony Friday, Hillary Clinton touched on a number of subjects, including Trump and the Russian interference in the US election, but kicked off with some humor:

“You may have heard that things didn’t go exactly as I planned. But you know what, I’m doing O.K.,” she said. She talked about spending time with her family after the election, walking in the woods, organizing her closets and added, “I won’t lie, Chardonnay helped a little too.”

She went on to tell the graduating class at her alma mater that what helped her most, she said, was “remembering who I am, where I come from and what I believe.”

In one of her first times on record, Clinton went after President Donald Trump and the controversies that surround him, comparing his imperiled presidency to that of Richard Nixon’s.
‘We were furious about the past presidential election of a man whose presidency would eventually end in disgrace with his impeachment for obstruction of justice, after firing the person running the investigation into him at the Department of Justice.’
Clinton went on to take other thinly veiled digs at Trump, saying that “when people in power invent their own facts and attack those who question them, it can mark the beginning of the end of a free society.”
