John Mayer was rushed to a hospital in New Orleans for an emergency appendectomy but is recovering nicely, says his rep.
“Early this morning, Tuesday, December 5th, John Mayer was admitted into the hospital for emergency appendectomy forcing the Dead & Company December 5th concert in New Orleans to be postponed,” a statement from his representative said.
The 40-year-old singer had to cancel his ‘Your Body is a Wonderland’ New Orleans date but no word yet on when he can resume the tour.
