In the video seen ’round the world, United Airlines used airport police to forcibly remove a passenger from his seat when no one volunteered to give up their seats.Now identified as David Dao, a Kentucky doctor, he is still undergoing treatment at a Chicago hospital for his injuries, his attorneys said in a statement.
Unfortunately, the scandal has revealed an ugly side to the doctor, who lost his medical license for drug-related crimes. The Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure launched a probe which found Dao and accomplice Brian Case had been trading prescription drugs in exchange for sex.
Still, that doesn’t change the facts in the United flight debacle.
