On a wide-ranging Fox & Friends, Trump was asked about designers refusing to dress the would-be First Lady.
‘Melania doesn’t like Tom Ford,’ said Donald Trump adding that the designer was NEVER asked to dress his wife and that Steve Wynn ‘threw his clothing out of Vegas hotel’ after his comments about future first lady .
Trump checker:
1) The Wynn Hotel doesn’t even carry the Tom Ford clothing line, so reports of Wynn dramatically throwing out the designers clothes is fiction. However, the Vegas hotel carries the designers beauty line and reports that it does very well.
2) Ford said he would not dress a first lady because his clothes are too expensive, though he did create a grown for Michelle Obama in 2011.
