We love our Creative Sound Blaster Roar 2 for outside BBQs (think drinking and dancing, usually in that order) but it’s just a little too big and heavy to be our go-to portable speaker (think beach and picnics.) So we were thrilled to review the company’s MUVO2c palm-sized water-resistant Bluetooth Speaker with Built-in MP3 Player.
At only 5.6oz this little powerhouse goes anywhere and packs a big punch for it’s small size.While the bass doesn’t rival a bigger speaker, the over-sized passive radiator on the back does pump it up.
Since the MUVO has a water-resistant outer shell, and a 6-hour battery life, you can take this compact speaker just about anywhere. Connecting to the MUVO 2c is simple, with the Bluetooth connectivity. And handily, when you’re hooked up via Bluetooth, the MUVO acts as a speakerphone so you can seamlessly switch between Justin Bieber (hey, no judgement) and your calls.
And if you’re wondering why it comes with a built-in MP3 player, it’s so you don’t have to use your mobile device but rather just upload songs to a microSD card without jamming the space of your smart devices. ( Supports audio formats including FLAC and WAV, WMA and MP3 formats3.)
