Ummmm…doesn’t that look good right about now? That’s a Le Melon Mule, made with the brand new Grey Goose flavor, Le Melon. Not just any melon — the  Cavaillon melon grown in the Provence region of France  which has a limited harvest and is considered a delicacy throughout history.

Like the Grey Goose L’Orange, which harvests the fruit every year for that light, crisp organge-y flavor , Le Melon is startlingly fresh and tastes like, well, ripe melon. Personally, when it tastes this good we like to chill it in the freezer and then sip it but here’s some recipes in case you are so inclined

GREY GOOSE Le Melon Mule

A twist on a classic, this delicious blend of sweet and spice highlights the full ripeness of the Cavaillon melon

Ingredients:

1 ½ Parts         GREY GOOSE® Le Melon

3 Parts             Ginger Beer

3                      Lime Wedges

 

Method:

1.  Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add GREY GOOSE Le Melon and the juice from three lime wedges.

2.  Shake well and strain into a high ball glass filled with crushed ice.

3.  Top with ginger beer and garnish with a lime wedge.

 

All the Kings Horses 300 dpi

GREY GOOSE® All The King’s Horses

1 1/2 parts GREY GOOSE Le Melon Flavored Vodka

1 part fresh grapefruit juice

1 part ST_GERMAIN® Liqueur

1 part fresh lemon juice

Jalapeno

 

Method:

Muddle 1 slice jalapeno in a shaker

Add remaining ingredients and shake vigorously

Strain into a Collins glass filled with fresh ice and top with soda
