Haven’t you always wanted a red piano? How about a pair of Christian Louboutin bespoke red custom sized boots (be still my heart!) Or maybe you fancy a Hermès custom red Cavale saddle? (More of an art piece, we would assume.)

These and other covetable design beauties created by Sir Jonathan Ive  (Senior Vice President of Design at Apple) and Marc Newson ( one of the most influential designers of his generation) are all going up for auction at Sotheby’s in New York on November 23, with the proceeds going to the Global Fund to fight against AIDS in Africa.

The 40 curated pieces are absolutely incredible and include icons of design selected by Jony and Marc, works that were personally customized by the pair and, finally, two new and unique items created by Ive and Newson specifically for the this special event.  These two are edition 01/01 and include:

  • An Edition 01/01 ‘Leica M for (RED) Digital Rangefinder’ camera
  • An Edition 01/01 ‘(RED) Desk’ , created from aluminum
