A GoFundMe page set up for victims of the terrorist massacre in Orlando is the site’s most successful fundraiser ever, with over $2 million raised in one day.
The GoFundMe page set up by Equality Florida reached over $2.2 million before 5pm Monday. It was set up by the civil rights organization on Sunday.
The largest individual contribution of $100,000 was donated by the GoFundMe team.
‘Our thoughts are with the victims and all those affected by this terrible attack,’ the company wrote in a blog post.
