He may have had an increasingly difficult time in recent weeks, but regardless of what Justin Bieber does, he still has his 35 million believers who will protect him at all costs.
So understandably, Olivia Wilde is a little nervous after receiving a torrent of abuse and angry messages on Twitter after telling the 19-year-old singer to put a shirt on in a message on March 1.
“I’m going to get attacked with acid. Someone’s going to throw acid in my face,” she told CNN.
“If that happens there are 35 million Beliebers that did it. It’s like that ballet attack, the guy who got hit. It’s going to be like that but [with] Beliebers…”
The actress went on to reveal that her twitter feed is now filled with hateful messages since her wise advice to the Biebs, estimating that she has now received some 17,000 tweets from irate fans.
“It’s pretty much the funniest thing that’s ever happened to me because my Twitter feed is now filled with the most hilarious abuse,” she explained.
The 29-year-old also addressed the Bieb issue earlier in the week when she appeared on “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno”, standing by her now infamous tweet.
“I have a 19-year-old brother in London and it’s freezing and if I saw him without a shirt I would tell him to put it on,” she said.
