McKayla Maroney is just one of four gymnasts who have revealed that they were molested by Dr. Nassar over decades. Along with Aly Raisman, Simone Biles and Gabby Douglas, Maroney told her story to the courts
during Larry Nassar’s sentencing trial.
The Gold-medal winning gymnast wasn’t up to facing the perpetrator so her victim’s statement was read by the district attorney.
‘It all started when I was 13 or 14 years old, at one of my first National Team training camps, in Texas, and it didn’t end until I left the sport,’ wrote Maroney of her abuse.
‘It seemed whenever and wherever this man could find the chance, I was “treated.” It happened in London before my team and I won the Gold medal, and It happened before I won my Silver Medal.’
Nassar is already facing 60 years for the child porn found on his computer. Let’s put him away for a couple of lifetimes.
