Sure, we love a cold one at a summer BBQ but why not bring the celebration up a notch with one of these speciality drinks?
Belvedere mixologist Ali Dedianko has created a cocktail that tastes as good as it looks.
30 ml Belvedere pink grapefruit vodka
20 ml Aperol
Top with Chandon sparkling wine
Pink grapefruit wedge to garnish
Combine all ingredients in a wine glass over ice and gently stir.
Garnish with a pink grapefruit twist.
2 GINGERS® Negroni
2 parts 2 GINGERS® Irish Whiskey
1 part sweet vermouth
1 part Campari® liqueur
METHOD: Combine ingredients in a mixing glass. Add ice and stir, then strain into a low-ball or rocks glass. Garnish with an orange twist.
1/2 oz triple sec
1 tsp superfine sugar
3/4 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
Mix the Grey Goose vodka, triple sec, sugar and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker half filled with ice cubes. Shake well to make sure sugar is blended. Pour strained liquor into a sugar-rimmed martini glass and garnish with a twisted peel of lemon.
NOTE: To create a sugar-rimmed glass, take a lemon wedge and rub the drinking surface of the glass so it is barely moist. Dip the edge of the glass into sugar.
