Home Alone actor John Heard, 72, was found dead ‘by maid service at California hotel’ Saturday. The versatile actor had ‘minor surgery’ on his back earlier in the week and was recovering in a hotel.
Police in Palo Alto reported: ‘The person was determined to be deceased. While still under investigation, the death is not considered suspicious at this time.’
Heard also starred in Big with Tom Hanks, Gladiator, The Sopranos (pictured) and Battlestar Galactica.
