Two days after United airlines accidentally sent the Swindle’s family dog, Irgo, to Japan — instead of Kansas — the beloved dog is back home with his family. More than 11,000 miles and about 48 hours later, Irgo has finally arrived at his new home in Kansas.

“He instantly jumped up and was crying,” Kara Swindle told CNN affiliate KSNW of the moment when they were reunited. “When he’s super excited, he cries.”
After the airline apologized, they told the owners that they would return Irgo back to the States in cargo but the Swindle’s weren’t having it.
“We told them, ‘Absolutely not. You need to be doing this our way now. He is to be flying in the cabin, and honestly, we don’t care how it happens. You just need to get it done,’ ” Swindle said.
Wonder how Irgo liked his first-class dinner?
