In his first comments, President Trump’s new National Security Advisor John Bolton warns that he wants the U.S. to ‘prepare for war’. After replacing the current National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster, the hawkish Republican added, ‘The US and the west face a lot of threats.’
In the past, Bolton called for a military attack on nuclear-armed North Korea and when Trump and Kim Jong Un were exchanging insults, Bolton suggested that the solution was to topple the Pyongyang government and have South Korea take over the North.
