Prime Minister Theresa May visited the site of the Grenfell tower block high-rise blaze that so far has claimed 17 lives but warned that the death toll may rise ‘ significantly.’
Although fire crews have been able to get to the top of the tower that can’t enter the apartments since they are deemed unsafe. London Fire Chief said that it would be a ‘miracle’ if anyone was still alive in the burnt out floors.
Police have launched a criminal inquiry, following reports that the building’s recent renovation was not up to code.
