In case you haven’t looked at the calendar lately, July 4th is next week. No plans yet? Here are some ideas that promise a wild good time.

Marnia Del Rey Hotels’ Red, White and BBQ Celebration:

What’s better than an oceanfront pool, drinks, BBQ on the grill and music? If that weren’t enough, the Event Lawn at the Marina Del Rey hotspot is hosting a beer garden (with over 16 breweries), a pie-eating contest and a water balloon toss.

To top it off, you can watch the fireworks right from the pool, cocktail in hand. Tixs are $15 at Eventbrite.

11 a.m – 9 p.m.

Wicked Paradise hosts party at SKYBAR at the Mondrian:

No, there won’t be giant dinos roaming the Skybar at the Mondrian on Sunset, rather the BAND Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs will be headlining the festivities. Have a Wickedly good time at the poolside event and BBQ which takes place 1pm – 7 pm at the Skybar  (which we love for the L.A. views.)

Tixs are $25 and available here.

Shade Hotel Redondo:

Catch the “Red, White & Aqua” pool party on Tuesday, July 4 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m at the ocean side Redondo Beach hotel. For a $20 cover, guests will enjoy live music by DJ Tony Gadachy, handcrafted cocktails and summertime bites on the hotel’s scenic Aquadeck overlooking the Redondo Beach waterfront.

In Redondo Beach, the fireworks happen the previous Sunday, July 1st, and Shade is hosting a viewing party. It’s the best place to watch the fireworks, from your comfortable couch with a cocktail in hand. Call to reserve seating.
