It’s no secret that dark leafy greens – and lots of them – are one of the keys to radiant health. I drink vegetable juice every morning and try my best to eat at least one salad a day, but I’m always looking for more ways to get my greens. So, when I learned MDRejuvena had found a way to use chlorophyll – aka plant food – in their high potency skincare products I jumped at the chance to try it.

I tested Rejuvaphyl which boasts the patented Phytochromatic MD Complex. The brainchild of two PHD’s, Phytochromatic MD Complex combines chlorophyll with copper, an essential element for maintaining optimal skin health. The ingredients are botanically-derived — which is a huge plus for those of us that like to keep things as natural as possible.

But don’t worry it doesn’t turn your skin green – thanks to the dual pump delivery system that gives you the dark green gel as well as a white cream that you blend together before patting them onto your face.

Designed to be used twice a day – morning and night – the product absorbs quickly and leaves the skin with a healthy sheen. At $200 for 100ML it’s not cheap, but the good news is a little goes a very long way. I used it along with the Daily Hydration in the morning ($50) and the Rejuvaphyl Ultra-Rich Hydration ($145) at night.

I have sensitive combination skin and this regime left my skin super moisturized without it ever feeling greasy or causing any breakouts. And because the products are so rich and nourishing you don’t need to pile them on to get results. After a month using MDRejuvena my skin feels more hydrated and the overall texture is smoother. When I wake up in the morning my skin has a noticeable glow and I can already see an improvement in my fine lines. I will definitely keep feeding my face these greens.
