Even if you’re not a surfer (raises hand) this proposed “The Endless Summer” license plate, inspired by the quintessential movie of the same name, screams CALIFORNIA! But here’s the catch — if you want one of these special interest license plates you need to get 7,500 of your friends to sign the petition.
Announced this week by the Surfing Heritage & Culture Center, at the launch of an exhibit at the San Clemente museum in honor of the filmmaker, “Bruce Brown: A Life Well Lived,” the group has applied to the state to create this groovy plate.
