Garry Marshall, the director, writer, and producer who created television shows such as The Odd Couple and Happy Days and was behind many of the popular films (Pretty Woman and The Princess Diaries, just to name two)  died Tuesday evening from complications of pneumonia following a stroke at a hospital in Burbank, California. He was 81.
