Bernie Sanders found himself standing on the podium at the Democratic Convention trying to plead with his supporters to vote for the Hillary Clinton / Tim Kaine ticket, as his own supporters booed him.
‘We have got to elect Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine,’ he said, and then, as the jeers became louder, ‘Brothers and sisters, brothers and sisters. This is the real world that we live in.’
