Abe Vigoda, best known for artful his portrayal of Salvatore Tessio in the The Godfather, and also his character Sgt. Fish in the sitcom ‘Barney Miller,” died today in his sleep at age 94.
Robert Duvall, a “Godfather” co-star, remembered Vigoda in a statement:
“We had some great memories together and he will really be missed,” Duvall said.
